Michael R. Taege is the principal attorney of Taege Law Offices. He actively manages the law firm while concentrating his practice in the family law and estates planning practice groups.

Mr. Taege founded Taege Law Offices under the belief that the rapport between an attorney and their client was one that is built over a long-term relationship, and not one representation. This ideal motivated him to open Taege Law Offices and focus on as acting as counselors and advisors, not just an attorney to facilitate the resolution of one particular matter.

Mr. Taege focuses his practice in two practice areas. He represents clients in family law matters including Divorce, Maintenance, Child Support issues and much more. Mr. Taege also assists his clients in planning for the future by providing counsel in the areas of estate planning as well as Corporate Law.

Michael R. Taege is a Chicago native, growing up in the Northwest suburbs before moving to the city of Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois in Chicago and received a Bachelor of Arts in English before attending The John Marshall Law School to receive his Juris Doctor. While in Law School, Mr. Taege took part in multiple honors associations while also being an active member in The Restorative Justice Project run by the school. He actively took part in the school association while also working as a law clerk with a Chicago Personal Injury Firm.
