Nicole Valenti is an Associate Attorney with Taege Law Offices. She actively concentrates her practice in the criminal law and family law practice groups.
Ms. Valenti is actively passionate about the under-resourced individuals who are subjected to the legal system, many times without the guidance of an attorney. Her passions have found a home as an attorney in the criminal law and family law groups and as the Pro Bono Manager of Taege Law Offices. This has allowed her to spearhead the firm’s efforts to give back to the community, while breaking new territory in attorney outreach and availability.
Ms. Valenti defends clients in misdemeanor, felony, DUI, and other criminal charges. In addition to her criminal law experience, Ms. Valenti represents clients in the areas of divorce, child custody, child support, and father’s rights.
Nicole Valenti is a Chicago native, growing up in the northwest suburbs before moving to the city of Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Roosevelt University and received her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School. While in law school, Ms. Valenti was an active part of the Restorative Justice Project, a project focused on providing alternative methods of punishment to convicted individuals besides jail and prison. In addition to working within the school, Ms. Valenti has worked extensively with the Cook County Public Defender’s Office, gaining extensive experience while practicing under an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 license. Ms. Valenti assisted in numerous cases while working at the Public Defender’s Office, including cases involving allegations of rape and murder.
